As the demand for lawn care and landscaping services continues to increase, the market remains flooded with companies trying to win their share of business. Additionally, there have been so many logos created over the years in this space that it can present obstacles to cut through the noise. How do we build a logo suite that is unlike what currently exists, while appealing to potential customers in the audience?
The Solution
A strategic and responsive logo suite, brand colors, typography, emblem, and spec sheet that presents the Yard Barbers as approachable, meticulous and experienced.

Synopsis
Yard Barbers invites their customers to feel the wonders of a fresh cut and cared for yard. They approach every cut with meticulous care ensuring the result is an excellent appearance every time- the same way exceptional barbers do it.
The Design
After a thorough discovery and research phase, there was an “aha moment” where design harmony was established. While sketching logo concepts, two of the most symbolic elements from each industry (a lawn mower and a barber pole) were fused into a strangely unique and memorable pictorial logo.
After locking up the mark into a responsive logo suite, a variation of color directions and typography styles were pursued in order to communicate the key values of the Yard Barbers.
